Welcome to Kaprock Woodwork's Dutch Barn Door Plans Website.
This design is one of the most durable and proven dutch, barn, horse doors on the market today. These plans provide even the novice handyman with step-by-step instructions and construction photos that allow you to save money. The doors are constructed of solid laminated wood to a thickness of 2" at the edges. Then the doors are trimed with solid rough-cut cedar for that perfect "Old-West" look. In addition, the plans are designed so that you get to choose your own door dimensions. You can build this door for a maximm height of 96 inches and a maximum width of 48 inches. You also get to decide where you want the dutch door sections to split (top and bottom halves). The hinges and latches can be purchased at your local home center or online.
